My passion for collecting began at the end of 1990 with the book "A woman named Jackie". I has already been interested in reports about the 50s and 60s topics, like the Kennedys.

At a flea market sometime later, I accidentally discovered a special edition of the magazine, ''The Assassination--Kennedy's Last Day". In another book I read about the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston. I requested and received materials from the JFK-Library. They sent me some pictures and photocopies. I decided to look for additional help building my collection, and began writing to all the possible addresses in Germany and America. I looked at the Kennedy family files during a visit to the archives of the newspaper ''Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung'', the archive at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the Press and Information Office of the Federal German government in Berlin.

And in October 1998 I finally flew to Dallas to  visit the "Sixth Floor Museum", to see Elm Street and the Kennedy-monument. What an experience !! Also I visited Washington, DC, saw the White House, went into the Capitol Building, and, naturally, visited the Kennedy Grave Site. I still have  not  visited  the Kennedy Library in Boston and I hope one of these days to get there.

At present I have more than 500 stamps in my collection, telephone cards, First Day Covers, coins, postcards, books, magazines and newspapers. I also have a bust of John F. Kennedy. In addition I have photocopies of newspaper reports and  photocopies of newspapers, from the 1960s.
